Hello, I’m Mohit (he/they). I am a Psychotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner, and a Trainee in Expressive Arts Therapy.
I aim to offer a therapeutic space that is warm, grounded, and non-judgemental, where you can explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable and safe. Therapy, to me, is an intentional relationship that supports clarity, expression, and deeper self-understanding.
My practice is queer-affirmative, neuro-affirmative, and rooted in an intersectional understanding of wellbeing. Coming from a Sindhi family with a history of displacement, my work is grounded in the confluence of caste, class, religion, privilege, migration histories, and socio-political and environmental contexts on mental health. This has given me an understanding on how intergenerational experiences and broader structures can influence our inner worlds, and I hold these nuances in the therapy space with care and sensitivity.
My journey into this field began through my own experiences with mental health, which made me realise how important it is to have competent and compassionate practitioners on the other side of the room, informing my humanistic and person-centred approach integrated within a trauma-informed framework.
Outside of my work, I have been vegan for almost 5 years now and have spent time in rescuing animals. I feel deeply connected to nature and animals, and I have four dogs back home in Bhopal named Oreo, Brownie, Coffee, and Cookie. I also enjoy photography, and I spend a lot of time exploring coffee and tea brewing as a mindful practice. In the end, I see therapy like brewing a tea blend, an unrushed process where warmth and presence slowly reveal clarity.
