A. What is counselling/therapy? Who conducts it?

  • Counselling or therapy is a professional process that helps individuals manage emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges. It is conducted by Mental Health Professionals (MHPs) such as psychologists, therapists, or counsellors.

B. What are the goals of therapy?

  • The goal of therapy is to enhance self-understanding, emotional regulation, and coping skills. It supports you in processing experiences, healing from distress, and moving towards personal growth and mental balance.

C. Does an MHP also provide medicines?

  • Not all MHPs provide medication. A psychologist or therapist provides psychotherapy or counselling services, while a psychiatrist provides medication.

C. How do pricing and payments work?

  • Payment is required before confirming a booking.
  • BST accepts multiple payment methods (e.g., Razorpay, UPI, cards).
  • Incorrect or failed payments will not confirm a slot.
  • Refunds are available as per the BST refund policy.

  • Not all MHPs (Mental Health Professionals) provide medication.
  • A psychologist/therapist will only provide psychotherapy or counselling services.
  • A psychiatrist can provide medication.
 

A. Is the office disability accessible?

  • Our Appointment Cancellation Policy In case of unforeseen reasons, booked appointments may be mutually rescheduled if communicated 48hours prior to the session. In case of appointment cancellation, if communicated 48 hours prior to the session, the fees for that session would be fully refunded. Cancellations made up-to 24 hours prior to the session would be refunded by 40% of the fees for that session. For cancellations made thereafter, no refund would be made. No refund would be made for missed appointments. The therapist reserves the right to request a rescheduling of the appointment in case of emergency.
